Kane is a career enlisted Security Division veteran and survivor of multiple wars, border conflicts, and shipboard actions spread across decades of service.

Long years inside Security Division have stripped away anything unnecessary. He speaks little, notices everything, and carries himself with the quiet certainty of somebody who has already lived through situations most personnel only hear about in briefings afterward.

Kane is not theatrical.
He does not posture.
He does not tell war stories unless forced to.

The scars, the timing, and the way rooms instinctively react when he enters tell people everything they need to know.

His humor is dry, dark, and brutally direct. Most people cannot immediately tell whether he is joking or insulting them. Usually it is both.

Kane has little patience for arrogance, politics, or personnel pretending dangerous situations are less dangerous than they actually are. Experience taught him long ago that confidence and competence are not the same thing.

Physically imposing without trying to be, Kane carries the presence of somebody who has spent most of his adult life walking toward trouble while everybody else was trying to get away from it.

He believes survival depends on discipline, awareness, and never forgetting that Security Division personnel are usually the first ones through the door when things go bad.
