The officers standing beneath bright lights while the fate of worlds hangs in the balance.

But every famous mission also had somebody standing security outside the door.
Somebody guarding the corridor.
Somebody holding the line while history happened somewhere else.
Red Shirt Watch follows the enlisted personnel of Security Division aboard a Constitution-class starship during some of the most dangerous years in Federation history.
These are not the celebrated heroes of the official reports.
They are the watchstanders.
The detail crews.
The security teams sent first into situations nobody fully understands.

Veterans hardened by wars and border conflicts stand beside rookies barely out of training. Some are ambitious. Some are broken. Some are simply trying to survive long enough to make it to the next duty rotation.
The stories unfold in the background of larger events the audience may slowly recognize, but this is not the bridge crew’s story.
This is the story of the people history usually forgets.
